So was that after the miscarriage and when you first had the ovulation from the bleed I have heard a lot do take a couple of cycles I’m just hoping it happens as it’s first time in 6 years with same partner dr told him to take healthy vitamins and stop having hot baths which he did as they say takes 3 months for men each time and then I fell I’ve said to him again lol warm baths and vitamins again just feeling hopefull as 34 now my first child is 9 now so a bit of a gap so shocked me when I fell just gutted I lost I’m sure it will happen soon for you xx
I had a miscarriage January 2023 I didn't wait a cycle but it did take me until December to test positive. That was a successful pregnancy and I welcomed my second child in August. I think some people are more fertile after a miscarriage and others not there was 99 days between my miscarriage and my first period afterwards so I don't think I fell into the fertile category. But just know it does happen and you can go on to have a baby afterwards xx
I let my miscarriage happen naturally. Started trying again as soon as I completely stopped bleeding. Didn't get pregnant straight away but did get pregnant again my first cycle after my loss & she's 2½ now
Yeah as soon as I stopped bleeding from the miscarriage, I tracked my ovulation and had sex on all the right days but unfortunately I wasn’t lucky this month as my period started 2 days ago. It’s good that your partner has taken steps to help your chances to conceive :)
I’ve had a few losses. The first one I got pregnant right away before my first period. The second loss it took longer (I was 15 weeks at the time of the loss) so it took a month and a half to get pregnant. The resulted in a very healthy now 9 month old. I’ve just had another miscarriage in August. I don’t think I ovulated that cycle but i think I’m ovulating now following my period a few weeks ago so fingers crossed we get lucky. I’ve always found it helpful to militantly track bbt and opks. CM never really worked for me. I totally understand the urge to get pregnant again and I truly hope it works out for you. I’m also very strict on diet and supplements for me and my husband. Good luck!!
It's recommended to wait to try again until you are testing negative. You wouldn't want to test positive thinking you were pregnant again only to get sick from having retained tissues.
@Elli just wondering when to start just finished bleeding so wondering to wait another week x
@Shirley thank you for this making me feel hopefull stopped bleeding today as they say when you miss carry that is the period starting which was a week tomorrow I’m wondering then if will ovulate mid next week if normal cycle it’s around days 11-14 roughly nice to hear you fell also straight away as didn’t want to wait another cycle if we can try and works etc hoping so as took 6 years for me to fall this time hoping that was my body preparing and can carry safely this time xx
@Anna. Fingers crossed that happens next couple just worried I’m miss carry again just wana be healthy take folic acid still etc x
@kelly i was testing positive for about 5 weeks after my miscarriage
@Elli gonna get some tests today to keep testing as I haven’t done any as of yet but blood has stopped now x
I had an early miscarriage last month and tried again straight away. I was also under the impression that I’d be more fertile straight away but I’ve since started my period which was disappointing because I really thought I’d get pregnant straight away Good luck :)
