Does it get easier?

I realised from about 2 months in that I had D-MER after I googled it and have found it's become more and more obvious each time. I have a sinking/dread/sadness right before I breastfeed but also multiple other times throughout the day and a few seconds later I'll feel my breasts fill up. My baby is nearly 4 months and it's only getting stronger, but I read it usually gets better after 3 months 😔 Has anyone found it has improved after a certain amount of time or will it most likely just continue until I stop breastfeeding 🙈

It does get better!!! ❤️‍🩹 it was really rough until my son hit 7 months honestly then it all felt very very second nature & now I’m only irritated if he starts playing with my non feeding boob & nipple but that’s an easy fix of holding his hands or putting something over my other boob But if pumping is easier for your mental health & physical body, that’s so ok too! 🫶🏼 I wish you the best

Thank you for sharing. In my experience my symptoms got worse; therefore, I had to stop breastfeeding. It was very hard decision to make but I had to put myself first so I can be okay. If I’m okay my child will be okay too.

I'm at 6months and haven't noticed any change to symptoms, I've probably wanted to quit BF at least once a day but here I am still going🤦🏼‍♀️
