Mucus plug lost

I’m 39 weeks pregnant and I’ve lost my mucus plug and now have cramps in my back/lower tummy. Does that mean labour is happening soon or can it be possible it can pass and be weeks away?

Contractions are very much like periods cramps. If it keeps going with consistency, that's labour

Literally exact same thing is happening to me and I lost my Plug a couple hours ago! Wishing all the best to you! We may both be in labor and get to meet our babies soon x

@Sarah I’ve been have pains every 10 minutes lasting for about 30-60 seconds 😅 they are manageable so not sure if I just keep waiting until they get worse before going to hospital
