Relationship

Has anyone lost friendships at the workplace once returning back from maternity leave . It’s been sad that I have lost but I also thought they would reach out to me & not me reaching out . Iv been struggling to realize maybe they were not even a friend to begin with .

I dread this 😩 I'm not back till Feb but it plays on my mind and makes me anxious xx

Yeah it’s been playing everything I have done like a week before I left & nothing hasn’t really set in but it’s just making me feel like I don’t belong here. If that makes sense

Aw sorry to hear you are going through this . I left my job and never went back due to being sahm but most of the girls came to my baby shower and everything and really sold me on being my friend etc and I honestly don’t talk to any of them now. We did at the beginning of baby being born but I felt like I had to be the one to reach out everytime we’d talk . It happens . Sorry to hear that girly !

@Evelyn Nicola what spiritual pattern…?

Girlllieee during this postpartum and everything my friends only showed up ones the baby was born and also did a suprise baby shower for me before baby. But as the months went by .. No calls, no checking ins, no texts, i would stay weeks without even hearing from my very own bestie. I drowned in depression thinking that maybe i did something wrong to them ,,, honestly this hurt till date. Even when there is an event or something and we see each other i feel like I don’t belong to the group anymore.

@JOJO that’s what Iv been going through & I did go through that when I was on my maternity leave . It’s just hard accepting it & also I been feeling soo alone .what’s awkward is working with them & I usually keep quiet & keep my head down & keep to myself . But I do hear that the friends ask what’s up & there like idk but in reality they cut ties with me but won’t admit it . Friendship work both ways .

@Evelyn Nicola this actually made my day today . I hope it does go well .
