Hope needed

We have just been told at 11+4 that baby stopped growing at 9+4 and I am about to go through miscarriage (medical, not D&C). We're devastated. I guess I'm just looking for some hope, how long did it take you to conceive again after your miscarriage? So sorry we all have to experience this awful thing x

I’m so sorry for your loss😞 I lost my baby last year in March at 6.5 weeks and I ended up finding out I was pregnant again in May last year x

@Julia thank you, congratulations on your little one :) do you mind me asking how far along you were when you miscarried?

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my first at 22 weeks. We spent a few months grieving but then decided to try again and got pregnant the first time. I know we were super lucky it didn’t take long and we now have a healthy 14 month old! Good luck and be kind to yourself x

@Hannah I was only 6.5 weeks pregnant x

So sorry for your loss. It’s never easy no matter how far along you were. I lost mine at 10+6 last August. Started trying again in November but was tracking my ovulation wrong. Started using ovulations test kits in February and caught in March. Try not to put pressure on yourself though and make sure you are ready. It’s such a rollercoaster of emotions but just know you are not alone x

I’m sorry for your loss, it’s honestly heartbreaking I lost my baby at our 12 week scan also in July 2021 I ended up having 2 D&C and then I fell pregnant again in January 2022 and had my baby in October 2022, I had a lot of hospital visits because my HCG didn’t come down quick enough. I also had a miscarriage in January this year had one period in February and was pregnant again, I’m now 21 weeks. If I’m honest, I didn’t try the seconds time we just enjoyed our time together and relaxed. It seemed to be easier that way and less stressful too. X

I'm so sorry for your loss. We found out at 8+1 that our baby passed a few days prior (no signs of mmc, went for a private scan so we could tell our parents on mother's day) and opted for conservative management until 4wks later nothing happened so I had a D&C. As horrible as it is to think about, please consider agreeing to histology testing. We had a partial molar pregnancy and only found out because I agreed to the testing. It meant a little extra follow-up because of the low risk of tissue regrowth and I now get an early scan for any future pregnancies. For a little hope, I had D&C 14th April last year, told it was a PMP 4 wks later, negative bloods 15th June, LMP started 16th June, sent off final urine sample to be cleared to ttc on 13th July, no period on 14th July but too scared to test but called by Charing Cross to say urine came back positive on 17th July. I had to send another urine sample, get 2 blood tests 48 hours apart at EPU, then scanned at 6 weeks to confirm, but she's now coming up 4 month.

@Carla so sorry for your loss but congratulations on your pregnancy, thank you for commenting x

@Danielle oh bless you, that sounds awful. So glad you're having a healthy pregnancy this time around. I was considering D&C but the risk of scarring freaked me out a bit. How did you find the experience?

@Carys I've not heard of a molar pregnancy before, will look into it thank you. Sorry for your loss and congratulations xx

@Hannah I ended up having 2 within a 3 week period as they didn’t remove everything the first time. First time round, I was sore but it was the second time that took it out of me. But then I’ve gone on to have 2 successful pregnancies too. I just didn’t want to be awake and go through the cramping etc mentally I just couldn’t do it. Either way it’s soo difficult x

I’m so sorry that you’re going through this - I had a very similar situation last year and it completely shattered our world. It took us 8 months to conceive again but we only tried for 6 of those cycles. I am now 36 weeks pregnant and this pregnancy has been super healthy with no issues at all x

I’m so sorry, it’s unbelievably 💩 We had a MMC at 9 weeks (stopped growing 5.5 which felt incredibly cruel) and we’re 6 weeks pregnant today. Still incredibly nervous but be kind to yourself and start again when you’re ready ♥️

I’m so sorry for your loss. In December I found out at 10w the baby had stopped growing at 6weeks. Our scan was on my husbands birthday Dec 4th. I was pregnant again by April fools day. My now due date is Dec 4th my husbands birthday - let’s hope it is a day of celebration this time around.

Sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage in April last year. Then In September I found out I was pregnant again with my rainbow baby. I used the Flo app to track ovulation x

i concieved the very next month after my miscarriage!

I'm so sorry. We found out at our 12 week scan we had lost the baby at 10. Had 3 surgeries to resolve that which was a bit of a nightmare... so took a while for period to come back. We have been lucky to conceive 1st or 2nd Try every time. Just unfortunately we had a few more miscarriages. I am nearly 14 weeks pregnant now! Concieved this the cycle after a chemical I was so unlucky with multiples but I saw so many people who are absolutely fine next time. I'm bristol based too so if you have any qs on support or anything I've been through it all! I also had amazing private support that I sought out to supplement my nhs care when I wanted more reassurance
