Question:

Hate that I’m in this group but have been reading and appreciate so many supportive ladies also going through this. I was 5w3d when I miscarried over this past weekend (chemical?). I started bleeding Saturday and the bleeding slowed today… only two days later. Is this considered a period and i should track two weeks from now again? My periods are usually atleast 5 days… Or is my cycle going to be all mixed up? I was usually at 32 days cycles but now obviously this makes me like 42 days or something since my last cycle. Also, can I do ovulation strips already or will it pop up the decreasing HCG as LH? Thank you!!!

Every cycle will be different post miscarriage. I’ve had 5 and I was an early pregnancy nurse. Don’t stress yourself and start counting. I always tell people you can bleed for up to two weeks. And it can stop and start. Your cycles will change and you can’t really count them now. Wait 3 weeks and do a pregnancy test. If it’s negative then wait for your first period after. This isn’t a proper period either. The one after that you can count your cycles again from. Hope this helps and I hope your ok as can be hun x

Mine just went back to my normal period after my chemical. I’m roughly every 28days and my period came roughly that time after I first started bleeding. I would definitely use ovulation strips for sure I’m not sure how miscarriages work because my second one was a miscarriage at 9 weeks and I didn’t ovulate after that one until I got my next period xx

Also sending lots of love your way. My chemical pregnancy was horrific especially with the switch in emotions it really took it out of me. Hope you are doing well xx
