How long did it take you to conceive after early miscarriage?

Had an early miscarriage at 6 weeks in March (our first pregnancy and first month of TTC) and have been TTC since then; two cycles unsuccessful and just starting to feel worried and overwhelmed. I track via OPKs and we have sex every other day in the week leading up to ovulation, around ovulation and after, so we’re hoping we have all basis’ covered. I know three months of TTC technically is nothing but any positive success stories about conceiving after miscarriage would be so welcome - don’t think we realised just how badly we want a baby until we had to go through the horrible experience in March so any tips or tricks that worked for you too would be so appreciated! I already take pre-natal vits with 400mg of folate and Vit D/Omega 3 and so does my husband (with Coq-10).

We got pregnant again second cycle after our early miscarriage (6th cycle trying including the month of our loss)

Just jumping on this post as myself and my partner are in the exact same situation. MMC at 8 weeks (heartbeat had stopped at 6) beginning of March after conceiving first month of trying but have been unsuccessful since 😖

Are you tracking via basal body temperature? In terms of accuracy to find out whether you’ve ovulated it goes progesterone blood test, basal body temperature, then tests. LH hormone can spike throughout the day or earlier/later and we won’t know for sure unless we test like every hour

So it’s better to do basal body temperature as obviously you can get blood drawn every day to see whether you’ve ovulated

And first cum in the morning typically better/juicier. I had to have sex every day in the ovulation week to get pregnant. Every other day didn’t work for us 😟 so just try out few things but seems like you’re on the right track with coq10 as well!! 👍🏼 all the best to you, don’t give up

@Polina yes I track BBT too ☺️ so this confirms ovulation with the OPKs.

Hi! I was in the same situation when we were ttc after our miscarriage in Jan. Every month that we didn’t get pregnant I was super worried something is wrong. We ended up getting pregnant in April (so in the 4th cycle post the miscarriage) and so far everything is going ok. I don’t know if it made any difference but the month I fell pregnant I took inositol. I saw people sing it’s praises and thought I would try it.

I had early miscarriage at 6 w in October 2022 . Found out I was pregnant in June 2023 so that was 9 months . And I had lost that baby too but at 17 weeks in September 2023 . Found out I was pregnant in April so that took 6 months to conceive again . I’m almost 9 weeks now . What helped me both times was Maca root me and my partner both took it ☺️

I'm so sorry you are dealing with this ❤️ I have some unexplained infertility so it's not the same as for many women, but after each of my early miscarriages it took a year or more to get pregnant again, 3 miscarriages in 6 almost 7 years of trying and I finally gave birth to my precious rainbow baby 2 weeks ago. Doctors said it was unlikely for me to have a successful pregnancy but my little one beat the odds. There's always hope for you to get the outcome you are wishing for!

Me and my partner started trying in July last year we fell pregnant for the first time in October and I had a miscarriage at 4 weeks. I fell pregnant immediately after so my miscarriage acted as a period almost. I’m currently 28 weeks pregnant with a little boy. It’s different for everyone but you will conceive again it just may take a little longer than you hoped for.

Honestly between first mc and second was 9 years, but second mc to LG was 1 year. Strange I always find out I'm pregnant in March for the MC but April for our LG xx

It took me 7 months to conceive after our miscarriage and it stressed me out so much because it seemed like so many people got pregnant immediately after.
