Hearing things

Any advice pls as I don’t know what to do My 2.5yo last week was screaming in the middle of the night because it was ‘so loud’ and kept screaming ‘what’s that noise’ but I was with her and there was no noise at all Since then not much has happened but she’s asking again what all the noise is and I asked if it was a car and she said yes and a man talking. I asked who the man was and she said she’s the man, then I was like oh your a man are you and she burst out laughing saying no she’s a little girl. But she keeps saying there’s loud noises when there isn’t She does have sensory issues but I don’t know what to do I don’t know if it’s real She doesn’t have any temperatures and she doesn’t seem to have any ear ache etc

Hi! Can you contact your GP for advice? It could be an ear problem or a noise that scared her before, and now she associated it with fear. It could also be something else more mental.

Could she maybe have Tinnitus or ringing in her ears?

If she heard a man talking i doubt there's anything up with her ears as if there was it would just be ringing and noise not cars and voices. Worth getting them checked though. Could genuinely be that she heard something supernatural. Believe it or not but is all real our flat was haunted when I was a kid and me my brother and my dad have seen it 1st hand. Never since thank god. Kids are more vulnerable to these things. No I'm not crazy lol. Have you moved house or done some renovations to your home? Maybe have a loved one that's passed?

@Nadia I was kind of thinking this sort of thing actually. We bought our house before she was born and renovated it, never had any paranormal things happen ever, until 1 night I was asleep in her bedroom on the floor when she was about 1. I felt someone trip over my feet, thought it was my partner and got annoyed that he woke me up, but he wasn’t even in the room. She still sleeps in that room and genuinely hasn’t ever had an issue, but I am aware the previous owner past away in that room. When I sleep in the room with her there’s never any issues, but honestly this was something I was worried maybe it could be. Nothing negative at all, but it’s definately possible I’m going to call the doctor tomorrow and get her checked anyway, she’s happy in her self and I think she’s getting a bit frightened by everything Halloween at the moment so I’m convinced that’s not helping things either! Thanks everyone x

Wow that's so interesting!!! I truly also believe in supernatural and experienced it myself many many years ago. Is that the only spare room you have? Maybe if she is moved to another room? Would that make a difference for her?
