Nappies leaking

Help! My baby girl is currently in size 3 nappies, as the size 2’s were too tight around her waist, however every time she is sat in her car seat on a journey longer than half an hour, or in her bouncer for a short while, if she poo’s it leaks out of the legs. It’s driving me crazy because we are going through so many outfits and constantly having to clean her half way on a journey. I’ve tried pampers, f&f, Lidl, rascal and friends nappies and they all do the same. I feel like the legs are too big on her, but I can’t go down a size because they’re too small on her waist 🤦🏻‍♀️ I don’t know what else I can do!

Have you tried Aldi mamia nappies?x

No, I don’t have an Aldi anywhere near me 😔

You can get them on Amazon. This may also sound stupid but my little girl leaked out because her vests were too tight so I sized them up and that helped x

@Julia oh great I’ll have a look, thank you! We have just moved up a size in clothes so maybe that will help 🤞🏻

Don’t get the mamia aldi nappies on Amazon. they’re 75p in the shop and ridiculously more on Amazon. X

Have you tried Huggies? I have no issues with Huggies at all! My son is nearly out of size 2 and they still don’t leak at all!

We've had many epic poops over here and Lidl size 3 has been fantastic. Unfortunately, how they sit in the car seat does make any nappy more prone to leak purely due to position - and it's a great one for pooping! I'd recommend making sure to flare the insides as much as possible, then tucking it in their knicker line, and making sure you're then putting the nappy on high and tight enough. If not keep exploring brands and sizes until you find the best fit. ☺️ Like Julia mentioned too, too tight clothing can make the problem worse!

Size up any vests or clothing that does up underneath the nappy. Of they're too tight and don't give a lot of movement it'll force a nappy to leak

Have you tried flanging out the legs of the diapers? That helps me

Do you take the ruffles out the legs?

I take the ruffles out and it helps.
