@Samantha we thought about that but my little one is army crawling so I think he will just be all around the room
Once our girl could sit herself up it was time to lower for us. She wasn’t reaching to pull herself to stand, however my thought process was what if she decides to do it for the first time in the middle of the night 🤦🏼♀️🤣 I’m also not very tall and find lowering my daughter into her cot a bit of a pain but it’s not as bad as I thought (I mean it is right at this moment but I’m pregnant again so 🤣)
When he could pull himself up or stand alone
Omg needed to see these comments today I told someone I’ve just lowered my lg cot today at 7 months and they put “only just 🤣” making me think I’ve done it really late as she’s only just started to pull herself up to kneel
We have at 9 1/2 months because he stands up and has managed to take off the monitor camera
We did it when my son was around 5 months old because he could already sit up and roll. I thought the same, that I won't be able to pick him up but actually it was fine.
Once he could pull himself up/ started to go even onto his knees. We still transfer once asleep and you somehow find a way to do it, it seemed impossible at the time but it’s second nature now 😊
At 6 months as my little girl was pulling herself to stand. I’m only 5ft and thought was going to be impossible but you just do it when you have to and I don’t even think about it 😊
We haven’t reached this point quite yet but I’ll be in the same boat. I think we may switch to a floor bed at that point
