Anyone else exclusively pumping?

Do you have a pumping schedule i.e set times each day where you pump? I’m pumping everytime baby feeds and getting tired of it! I have a good milk supply so wondering if I should reduce the number of pumping sessions…

How old is your baby?

Yes I am at the moment as baby was in the NICU and still not breastfeeding well due to being tired. I pump every 3 hours normally after baby has his bottle and then it's ready for the next feed. Last night he had one stretch of 3 and half hours so I pumped an hour late or so and didn't make a difference in fact I probably got a bit more. But yeah very tiring and the constant sterilising and thinking about having to pump all the time is exhausting!

Baby is 13 days old and lost a bit too much weight the first few days so has struggled to breastfeed.

My baby eats every 3 hours and I'm pumping every 5 hours😌

I exclusively pumped with my first boy, until he was 6/7months old (and weaning). Here is our schedule…

If you want to keep it up (I.e. express longterm) you will need to regularly pump every 3 hours to establish a supply

Dm me if you have any questions! 😊 Good luck!!

I’m exclusively pumping because my wee one struggles to latch. I have such a strong supply but I’m struggling with the frequency needed to keep up with demand as she gets older so we’re introducing some formula. It’s difficult because my little girl Arley just wants to be held just now so I rarely have both hands free!
