Need help!

I always breastfed my baby to sleep and when I stopped breastfeeding her at 1 year, I would just rock her to sleep. Then when she got a little bigger, I would just lay next to her, rub her back and stay with her until she falls asleep. Well that’s been going on for a while now and she’s 17 months. I can’t get her to fall asleep any other way. I spend anywhere from 30 mins to 1.5 hrs in bed laying with her. How can I get her to fall asleep on her own? I love cuddling with her but I would also like to be productive instead of laying there. lol please help, I’m desperate!

Have u tried taking her on a walk with her stroller. I have done this for naps and bed time, i make sure to have her on a full stomach and dry diaper. If she is tired the rocking of the stroller will make her sleep and then i just transfer her

@Bere Thank you. I do take her out for a stroll before her dinner but she eats around 630-7pm and she’s usually very messy so have to put her in bath right away. Her bedtime is also late so I can’t really take her out again. And it’s super hot where I am to take her out before naptime.

You ‘sleep train’ and hold the boundary of letting her learn. Wean off whatever you are doing slowly and allow her more independence to do it herself. It needs consistency and a process. I would suggest go from lying beside her - to sitting beside her - to sitting further away from her… until you are able to get further and further away and she no longer needs your presence. It’s possible :)

Singing bowls

Give that singing bowl a good hit with the wand and walk away.. magic ✨️🙃

Everything is energy frequency and vibration - Tesla

Or you could go more generic with a sound machine or binaural beats

But I think singing Bowls Would be the most effective
