Night feeds

What age do babies drop their night feed? I keep seeing if you sleep train you can have 0 wake ups but my boy still has a night feed. I'm just wondering when he will no longer need this and how to reduce/stop.

Depends what you’re feeding them, breastfed babies tend to have more night feeds and over a longer period. I had to formula feed my baby, and he hasn’t had a night feed since about 3 months old

All babies are different. My eldest stopped night feeds at 5 weeks old, this baby stopped at 8 weeks old, both exclusively breastfed. But then I know some 2yr olds still waking for night feeds. Honestly how and what you feed them makes zero difference in my experience of working as a nanny/night nanny for 17years. It's purely dependent on the baby themselves. You could try a bowl of porridge before bed to keep them fuller for longer, I have seen this help some babies sleep for longer periods x

As above they’re all very different. My little girl is formula fed and hasn’t had a night feed since three months x
