Need help with schedule

I’m trying to figure out how to plan a schedule for my 3 month old. We both go to bed around midnight and wake up at 8am. Any ideas when good nap times will be? This is the best I got so far but I can’t seem to fit naps in where I need to and based off how she settles down and sleeps

I have a 4 month old and don't have a complete set schedule. I usually go by wake Windows. On average she's only awake an hour and 45 minutes before needing a nap. I just keep bedtime and wake up time consistent. I found that way easier than a set schedule. Once we hit the last sleep regression any schedule went out the window 😅 But every baby is different. I think taking cara babies had some free example schedules. You'd have to tweak to fit your bedtime, but the elapsed time between events would be the same.

At 3 months old you don’t choose the schedule, they do. Then you get a sense of their patterns.

lol I would find it very unusual if you managed to get a baby so small to follow a routine of your choosing!

I’m more so trying to make some kind of routine because I’m not taking care of myself some days. I need to figure out times she’ll go down so I can eat and shower and just do basic things for me.

I think as long as you just go for rough estimates, it should work better. Be as flexible as you can be but with the idea that ‘nap is next’ sort of thing. So during their their first nap of the day for example, whenever that may be, you could then do something for you

Unfortunately we tried this and it didn’t work. He naps when he needs it, feeds when he needs to and sleeps when he needs to. Some days he will sleep a lot in the morning, others he sleeps a lot in the evening. He could go to sleep at 11pm or 1am

Follow wake windows, the huckleberry app is great for predicting them after you’ve logged them for a few days

I know the saying is “sleep when the baby sleeps” but no, it’s actually taken care of yourself when the baby sleeps
