Cuddly toy in bed?

My little boy absolutely loves a Teddy or a comforter. He carries one round with him most of the day and won’t sleep without one, I put multiple jellycats/comforters in his cot with him at night so when he wakes up he can find one and he goes back to sleep. Don’t worry too much about the guidelines as they’re nearly 12 months now anyway! He takes a jellycat bunny to nursery with him everyday and they are designed so babies can easily hold them by the ears ☺️

My little boy has a little Peter rabbit with a comforter attached to it that he's slept with since 7 months as he liked falling asleep stroking muslin cloths while contact napping. He also has a jellycay bunny in his cot that I was hoping he would be attached to that I bought for him while pregnant but nooo Peter rabbit won lol

If it’s a comforter that will go to nursery make sure you buy back ups as at some point it will go missing or get dirty then you’ll have a sad baby! I used to work in nurseries and that used to be so tough on them

@Megan Always the way 😂 we bought a lovely little monkey as a comforter but she’d rather just have a dummy in her hand and a dummy in her mouth 😤

But we’ve had comforter teddies in bed since about 7.5/8 months. I put them at arms length so she only really is near them if she wakes up and gets them. They’re all also baby specific teddies so I feel reassured they’re a ‘safe’ design as they’re made with babies in mind x

@Jessica I should have seen it coming lol my mom bought me lots of teddies as a kid but what I chose as my comforter was a blue bunny that my uncle won me out of a 20p claw machine when I was 8 months old 😂

@Megan amazing! My comforter was a piece of fabric torn off of my aunts nightdress 😂😂 why do we bother hahaha

My baby has taken a shiny to the munchkin plastic duck. It’s different! Very replaceable
