How long does it take you to get baby back to sleep?

So my LO is 7 weeks now and in general he sleeps well. He normally only wakes once during the night to feed. Now from when he wakes up to when he's back asleep it can take 1.5 hours. For us it's fast when it takes 45 minutes. Now my mom told me that it should take way less time during the night. Between nursing from both breasts, burping (sometimes we even skip this), changing and rocking back asleep, I don't see how it could be much faster than 45 minutes. Am I doing something wrong?

Every child is different but if that 45 minutes includes feeding I don’t see how it could be shorter either really.

About an hour for us some times a little longer

My LB is 10wks today and his dad did a nightfeed there.. everytime I do them he falls asleep after but funny how whenever dad does one the baby is awake 🙄 but that's another issue.. my LB can stay awake 1-2 hours!! Tonight he's been awake from 1.30ish and is only asleep now at 3..

@Shelby for the longest time since I was doing bedtime mainly for our son, my husband couldn’t get our son to fall asleep if he did the occasional bedtime because baby associated dad with playtime and me (mom) as comfort and sleep time. Now with our daughter my husband has been doing mainly bedtimes and so I have a lot harder of a time doing her bedtimes and getting her to sleep than he does, she falls asleep instantly at night for him whereas I struggle. I can get her down easily for naps during the day but that’s it 😂 But for OP, like Lydia said, every child is different but to me these times sound pretty normal for this young. 7 weeks is still around the time some babies are in their peak witching hour where they become more fussy and difficult than usual. Witching hour typically tapers off and ends around 3-4 months old.

Once she starts to fuss and move around a lot I know she’s hungry, so I change her first then feed her, she falls asleep right after. I cosleep though in case that makes a difference.

My wee one since 3 weeks during the night is up for 20 mins (she’s a milk monster) I have just done her routine with her now and once she’s fed and bum changed I put her back in her bed to fall asleep. Usually for naps we have to stroke her hair or shush her but for this one it’s just dummy in and night night Blakers 😂🙈

About an hour here. But at 7 weeks it was often longer.

Between 40 minutes to 1.5 hours. Sometimes she needs a change after feeding (always change before feeding) and sometimes she just takes longer to get back to sleep x

Little one is 9 weeks now and I'd say an hour including feeding and burping her. I also have to sit upright with her for at least 20 minutes due to reflux x
