Reaction to loud noise from in the womb

Not nessecarily a single loud noise, but baby was way more active when I was in a quite setting, evenings on the couch with my husband relaxing, and was much more mellow if we were out and about in a busy, noisy setting. The funny thing is, that’s exactly how he is now at 14 months. Super outgoing and energetic in small, quiet settings; and just sits back and quietly takes it all in when there’s a lot going on.

Oh really?! Maybe that’s just his personality then!

My baby did this the other day! My partner and I were doing some yard cleanup after the hurricane and he started up his chainsaw pretty close to me. Baby definitely jumped at that noise! I wonder if it’s his startle reflex kicking in, he’s full term now.
