It could be coming out too fast for baby and choking them.

Yea, as Bonnie said above, too much too fast, you can try changing position like upright hold, you laid back, or even the football hold with their head propped up. That helped my baby with the choking

Try leaning back! It makes them work harder and gives them a chance to pull off if they need. Also I’ve seen not to burp them while they’re catching their breath, just let them breathe through it. I hold her upright and kind of stretch her out.

That’s been happening to me too. I think the flow is too fast.. like the other ladies said. Glad I’m not alone.. Have you ever had your nipple spray milk at your baby?! Omg, that’s been happening to me, he pulls away and it’s literally sprays him in the face! 🥴

Same goes for me. My baby girl chokes on my breast and sometimes spits out my milk.

I've noticed this happens when I'm full of milk. I started to express a little bit of milk out before latching, choking has stopped

@Erin omg yess spray him all in the face I hate it 😭 I also hate when he is eating my other boob starts spraying 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
