Can’t sleep 😢

Anyone found anything to help being able to sleep? I’m up 100 times a night for a wee, heartburn, restless legs and general insomnia!! I work full time and have a 15 month old who still wakes up in the night and I’m desperate for a bit of rest 😭😭 any tips?! Xx

I'm in the same boat with a 16 month old and every other symptom 😭 i don't work at this point though. Just doing everything you can to kind of calm your body down. Sometimes light stretching or asking your partner to rub your legs before bed can help. I try to eat things that calm or at least don't trigger heartburn before bed. Taking tums...sometimes helps. Adding another small pillow for some back support has seemed to help me be able to get more comfortable...so maybe try changing some pillows or adding extra support? But ik sometimes it feels like absolutely nothing helps and then right when we get comfy we have to pee again. I know it sucks I'm so sorry mama. But it won't last forever! If your baby takes long enough naps during the day I always try to nap when my son does just because night time is so rough usually. Not sure if any of that was helpful but if anything just know you're not alone 💙 we'll get through this!

In my first pregnancy my husband offered me a sleeping mask with Bluetooth, I was listening to positive affirmations and sleeping aid podcast/music really helped. Also avoid drinking too much just before going to bed. For restless legs , I usually sleep without trousers. I'm awake now as I slept a lot this afternoon 😅

I’ve been making myself do really strict sleep routine and it’s helped, the insomnia was killing me at one point. No phone for at least an hour before bed, sleep spray on my pillow, magnesium oil on my feet and reading before I try to sleep until my eyes are all droopy.

Magnesium butter is lovely - whether it’s a placebo affect or actually helps, who knows. But smells nice and just massage into legs so can’t go wrong trying x
