Have you/are you going to sleep train?

Currently breastfeed to sleep as nothing else works and considering sleep training once she’s 6 months but breaks my heart when she cries. Can’t imagine just letting her cry. I know there’s more than just the cry it out method but most methods are quite similar. 😔

I think that if my little one doesn't start naturally sleeping for longer periods or through the night (currently sleeps no longer than 2 hours at a time, rarely makes it past that 😴), then I will have to try something as I can't be this tired when I go back to work :( If so, then I'll be trying the put down pick up method - it's half what we already do except I attend to his cry within 1 minute 99% of the time and always hold to sleep. I have managed to stop him needing to be rocked or bounced to sleep all the time which has saved my back and legs already, so I'm happy with this win 😂

We sleep trained and used cry it out. Feel free to msg me ☺️

We gave it a try but it’s just not for us. We lasted 3 whole minutes with her crying. I just can’t hear her cry for me and know that she’s alone and unable to do anything for herself, so I’d just rather continue to wake up every 2 hours as long as she needs me to honestly. I know that sleep training works for some and every baby is different, but for us I just try to keep in mind that this stage is temporary and I’ll sleep again one day 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you so much for sharing ladies 🥰

I breastfeed to sleep and co sleep, every time I try to get him back in bassinet or without boob he is inconsolable! I think I’m just gonna wait it out a bit once solids are introduced maybe, it’ll be easier since they slowly feed a bit less or if I ween breastfeeding to formula not that I plan too anytime soon but I’m ebf and teeth have me worried idk why. 😂
