Baby anal fissure ? Red mucus in nappy

It could be a fissure however my little one started off with a little bit of red mucus and then we ended up with bloody stool. She's currently on allergy milk. As you're breastfeeding try cutting and dairy and possibly soya as a lot of babies react to that too and see if he improves x
@Naomi thank you for your reply! did you have any other symptoms? Reluctance to feed? Eczema? Vomiting? Low or no weight gain?

Cows milk protein allergy. On demand feeding is now what is recommended so unsure why the doctor is telling you to only feed every 3 hours, my LG feeds every 45 minutes and i can't imagine the state she would be in if I tried to withhold. Breast milk is digested much faster than formula. We had symptoms of colic and eczema, noone was really concerned as she was gaining weight well but when I cut dairy out she was much happier. I trailed and went back onto dairy again and symptoms immediately flared up again. Covered I'm eczema. My doctor told me to go 4 weeks without dairy as it takes 2 week to leave your system and 2 weeks to leave the babies system but I've also seen some people saying that it takes 6 weeks as baby needs time to heal.
@Elpi severe reflux which included vomiting up whole feeds at least twice a day. Lower weight gain she still gained but slower than she should've. She also was extremely fussy after feeding so she would have a bottle and then it would be an hour battle of her crying and being generally uncomfortable and when the doctir felt her stomach he said it wss very bloated and a bit distended. She hasn't had any skin symptoms
It's more likely a cows milk protein allergy. As you're breastfeeding test it yourself cut all dairy out for 6 weeks and see if during that time things improve but stick with it for 6 weeks as that's how long cmpa takes settle and heal the gut
