Nap advice

Hi ladies, Wondering if anyone has any advice. We’re currently on 2 naps for LO, 11:00 for an hour and 15:00 for an hour with a 20:15/20:30 bedtime and 07:30/08:00 wake up in the morning. It was working quite well and LG was waking up and bringing all sleeps to an end herself but lately I’m having to spend anywhere between 25-45 mins getting her to sleep for the second nap and for bedtime but I’m also then having to wake her up from all naps and in the morning - which I don’t like doing and she wakes up miserable. Has anyone dropped to one nap for this reason? Thinking of I push her to 11:30 which I think she’d take fine and letting her sleep until she wakes herself up will be better for her? Her last wake window of the day is 4.5 hours but she could easily do more but it’s way too late in the evening for me to let that happen. Hoping to use the clocks changing as the jumping point of a new routine. Any advice welcome! X

I started moving her first nap to 11:30 then 12 then 12:30… now she goes to sleep around 1pm, she will sleep about 1-2hours She goes to bed at 7:30 and wakes up 7:30-8 At first it was hard to move to 1nap but she was refusing the second nap and it made no sense to move the bedtime to accommodate a larger wake window Try the same and see if it works Also at first, she would sometimes sleep 45mins or 1.5hours it would depend on the day, but she would also show signs of tiredness around 6/6:30 but it was too early (for me) to let her sleep at that time so gradually it worked out fine

Also, I wouldn’t wake her from naps, if its not affecting the night sleep

My little girl goes to bed and wakes a similar time to yours. Her nap is also around 11am and she usually naps for a couple of hours and then lasts till bedtime. I've always just followed her lead and waited for her to wake up. Sometimes she can nap nearly 3 hours x

Thank you both, giving it a go today! 🤞🏻 When do you both do food and milk? We’ve been doing milk before naps and bed but she skips the morning milk happily. Bfast is half 8, lunch half 12 and dinner 6 xx

We do 8am breakfast 12ish lunch 4/5pm dinner 7:15 bottle

This is our routine :) 7oz milk upon wake Breakfast probably about an hour after, I don't really time it, just go with the flow! 1ish lunch 6ish dinner 8ish bottle :)
