how old is your little girl?

We did it few weeks ago when my boy was 4 weeks. It was super quick and he only cried for few seconds. He slept more than usual on that day but that was it. It took few weeks but I can see the improvement in latching and breastfeeding became a less painful experience for me.

@Pam she will be 4 weeks tomorrow

Both my children had posterior tongue ties that were released. It’s over in seconds, a bit of blood but breastfeeding straight after helps to stop it. Both a bit sleepy and clingy the day of but such huge improvements to the pain I felt breastfeeding straight away. Takes about two weeks for them to completely heal and adjust to feeding without the tie. 100% worth it for me and my babies!!

My little girl had hers snipped today. She cried a lot but settled after feeding. She's been very clingy and has been cluster feeding pretty much since. I did notice the pain from latching wasn't as bad, although after 5.5 hours of cluster feeding, it is back 😅
