Taking out LO

I see all these mamas going to the park with their little ones and to stores and whatnot and I tried it….I just wanna know where are all y’all changing your little ones when you go to the park?? Y’all pulling up to a bench?? Going back to the car? I got MAJORLY stuck on this Also when you’re at a store, for my exclusively breastfeeding mamas, how do u do it? Because I forgot to pump and my LO was hungry so I had a nursing cover and that was all good and dandy until I had to carry my almost three month old one handed while feeding him with a nursing cover and also trying to wheel around the stroller 🥹 So please mamas…how do u do it??

I was mortified with all of this too! I got a changing backpack that had a pad included so i would go to the most private area i could and throw her on that or if close to the car, do that. Honestly I tried BF in stores with a cover and I still felt very awkward. I fully support it but it wasn’t for me. I just pumped and brought bottles. That only stunk bc i had to carry a cooler and make sure temps were good and all of that. Next time im just whipping it out bc im too lazy 🤣 If you aren’t in a rush, go sit and BF. Lots of shopping stores have designated BF rooms or will let you in a dressing room.

I keep a changing table pad in my suv and change my little one in the car

And when i was breastfeeding i just pulled my boob out and latched her bc (I was comfortable doing it) and i didn't care what others thought about it

I change my son in the trunk we have a privacy curtain so for breastfeeding there’s more privacy

I always change in the back of my car and if you get a baby carrier for your baby you can cover the baby inside the carrier and have your hands free while you nurse

At the park I lay out a rug and change/feed him there when I need to. If I’m w people then I might go into the toilet and see if they have a changing table if not I’ll lay out the changing mat on the floor there. As for breastfeeding I’d just BF anywhere but I sit and feed I don’t walk and feed so I’ll go to a cafe and face slightly to the wall/away from people or a baby room that has BF chairs I have never tried to BF and walk. I don’t use a cover I just choose a table furthest or the chair closest to the wall. Was out nearly every day since he was 6w taking him out and to groups and whatnot

When I go out with my son I usually just do it in the trunk of my suv! I keep a mat in there and some extra wipes and diapers just incase. I just feel better do it there than a public one idk why

Our diaper bag has a built in changing station so I can change him anywhere. Park bench, tark table, the ground, the other day I did it on the bleachers at my daughter's softball practice because the bathroom was closed. When I was breastfeeding I'd just sit on a bench and feed with the cover on.

Any moms out here with sedans?? Do you still do it in the trunk?

I keep a blanket in the back of my car and one in the bottom of my stroller for anywhere changes.

Changing happens anywhere but most places there’s a store nearby etc that I can use or i have changed her on a wobbly bridge at an empty park 😂 as for feeding, if I am solo, I pull up down a less busy aisle and feed her so she’s comfortable enough to then wait for a bigger feed when we get home. Saves the hassle of trying to push a pram and feed etc.
