At home heartbeat monitor

Hey mamas! I am 9 weeks and 3 days today. I have had 2 dr appointments already but have a few weeks before i go back in for my 12 appointment. This is my first baby after I had a miscarriage earlier this year. With that being said, has anyone tried one of those at home fetal heartbeat monitors and had any success? I am obviously a little nervous to get through to 12 weeks and I was thinking of buying one to keep my fears at bay! I would love if you guys had an opinions on them esp with being so early in the pregnancy đź’•

Yes I love having fun! But you may not be able to hear it just yet.

On the at home monitor

People been getting one off of Amazon. I would get one with the screen that shows how many beats per minute instead of showing blank with the sound holes in the machine. Don't get the sneak peak doppler because it wasn't that good. I been thinking of getting one myself again

I know they can bring a lot of people peace, but they can also bring panic. It’s easy to not place it well if you don’t have experience, and sometimes 9 weeks is too early anyway. At my 11 week appt this past week my midwife wasn’t able to find the heartbeat so she pulled out their mini sonogram and baby was totally fine and throwing a dance party, but hidden under an anterior placenta. I can only imagine how much I would have panicked if that happened at home!
