Babbling
My little one (7mo) will coo and say ahh and giggle but hasn't babbled yet. Anyone else who can relate? He has always been our observer. Makes great eye contact and is social.

My boy is 7 months and exactly the same. If I say “mama” or “dada” at him he just laughs at me 😂
Mines been the same, he makes mmm and ahh sounds. I read that if a baby is very focused on one area of development, the other will take a backseat for a little bit essentially. Like mine doesn't babble much but he's very motor focused and is pulling himself to stand on everything and has even stood independently for a few seconds
@Breanna yes mine has been focused on sitting up and playing sitting up

I was worried too when my sun was 7 minths and not babbling. He has started at 9. Now won't shut up ahha. So don't worry yet. Maybe he's more keen in developing other skills
