Trying breastfed baby with a bottle

Anyone have any tips/ tricks to get 6mo to take a bottle? She took one a few times in the early days when my boobs needed a break 😅 then again she was content at about 3 months when I went on a night out, but now she just isn’t interested 😫. Looking to do some KIT days back at work but it’s frustrating as I can’t leave her for more than 3 hours atm. Help!

I’ve heard if she’s hungry she’ll drink it. When your not there as well she won’t smell ur milk so I wouldn’t stress to much xx

Can you try a weighted straw cup?

Have you tried different bottles? My boy will take the mam ones well & apparently the Dr Brown ones are meant to be good for breastfed babies too. Might be worth trying the different teats to see if that helps!

We had this issue. He eventually took a Dr Browns bottle after trying many many others! I also found sitting him on one knee and swaying him back and forth while feeding helped and keeping little fingers on his chin. I also gave him the empty teat to suck on before putting the milk in. But I think sometimes it’s just time and they will eventually learn. I found it best not to wait until he was hungry as he just got frustrated. Try breastfeeding and then topping up with bottle x
