Would you ask a pregnant woman to babysit your child?

It’s definitely inconsiderate, but I feel like some men don’t really understand how pregnancy is, I would just say I’m not feeling up to it x

I would just say, “it’s a little too much to take on at this time. So sorry.😞 “

Is a bit cheeky but he is a man yes, and also I’m assuming his child is 9 aswell? So maybe didn’t think it was a big ask. Like my son is 10, and if his friend came round I wouldn’t have to be looking after them, as they do their own thing in his room. Kinda just a playdate, I might not mind as it means someone is entertaining my child.

It's cheeky to ask, different if you offered. However the age if the children does have an impact. I have a 3.5 year old, and it would be a lot to look after his friend. However 2 9 year olds are much more independent. He probably just didn't think about it when he asked

Some people are clueless. If he is a man, maybe he thinks it is not that bad.

@Kya yeah she’s 9 as well. The thing is they argue a lot and then make up when they play together. So there’s always a lot of crying etc. I just don’t have the energy for all that. My 9 year old is very good at entertaining herself luckily.

Definitely wouldn’t ask if I knew the pregnant friend wasn’t feeling well. It’s be different if they’ve offered before and were having a breeze of a pregnancy 😂

@𝔾𝕚𝕤𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕖 I just went to pick up my 9 year old from school and he was saying because I’ve been pregnant twice before it’s easy and shouldn’t be that hard. I don’t think he gets it..

I took up being a lead teacher for a class of 8-2 year olds my whole pregnancy. I babysat a friend's kids a few times pregnant but they were terribly behaved and that was too much yeah.

I was once told by a creep that since I worked in construction I should be used to sexual harassment 🤦
