Breach babies

Anyone had a breach/ transverse baby from 17 weeks? Little lady has been moving between breach and transverse since my gender scan at 15 weeks. Im worrying about her turning head down in time or this pregnancy ending up with a c section? Any positive stories?

Just to let you know mine is still breach at 28 weeks. Hospital not concerned currently as still ages to go!

@Jessica thankyou im 26 weeks now and not once have i felt a kick towards the top of my belly and my belly is already quiet low compared to the last few weeks

@Lara same with me. Get the odd punch but everything is low. I’m sure your baby will move in time. I know they can try and move the baby but again that comes with own risks. Fingers crossed she does flip

I think they only speak to you about breech options if baby still breech after 36 weeks. Baby still got soooo much room to turn and move and even if they go head down then could still flip the next day and flip back. Try not to stress and in the grand scheme of things a section isn’t the worst thing in the world (from someone who tried for 5 days through induction to avoid one, it ended up being the least stressful part about it everything). Try not to worry xx

@Jessica they wont flip her due to my anterior placenta and the fact my son was born early too

@Megan im only worried about a c section due to having a disabled child and him being very needy and liking to be carried

Should say baby wasn’t breech that’s not why I was induced x this time though baby is currently breech at 25 weeks and unsure I’m bothered honestly a section (and a planned one) wouldn’t be the end of the world for me this time. I actually wish I’d gave in sooner the first time as recovery might have been easier. You’ll be grand either way xx

So my baby was breech at 27W, then the very next week she’d flipped to head down. Though she was sunny side up (aka back to back. Baby is preferred to be back to belly). On literally this past Friday she was still sunny side up. I had a random scan today (so five days later) and now she has randomly spun to be back to belly and is in perfect position lol. So basically … babies love to swim around and move. And from everything medical staff have told me, they are not concerned at all before the 32W mark about positioning. And 35W is when they’d offer you interventions if baby still hasn’t turned. But you’ve got a long time before then!

@Lara ah yeah I totally get you. If you have a good support network just accept all the help you can get 🌸 hope it all works out in the end whatever happens!

My first was breach at 28w and 32w growth scans, but had turned by my 36w one - we were prepped to have the chat about interventions at that appointment, but it wasn't needed. It's entirely possible that little one will turn, there's plenty of time yet! ☺️ x

As with all the other comments I was breech at 28w and head down at my most recent appointment at 31w. I imagine she might move again between now and my due date

27 weeks and little girl is extended breech ☺️ still lots of time and room for them to rotate and flip x
