Calpol vapour plug in

Can the Calpol vapour plug in be used for babies aged 8 weeks? My little one is really congested and got a cold. We have tried the saline drops, taking her in the bathroom with steam but nothing seems to be easing it. On the packaging it says to use from 3 months. Do you think this will be ok?

I can't answer this question, but you can get a vapour oil suitable from birth which I've found can be helpful! https://www.boots.com/snufflebabe-room-vapour-oil-10087647

No I personally wouldn’t use as says 3 month, as above the vapour oil is good put on a flannel/cloth and leave on radiator or put in a bowl of warm water in the room. I did steam showers, fridge snot sucker, vapour oil and saline drops took over a week and it’s so frustrating you can’t do more for them but it will pass xxx

I used it at 8 weeks but just not in the same room, so on the landing next to the room etc but not really close. I’ve since used it in the same room as he’s older but I can’t say it made much difference either way. Snuffle babes was quite good though
