Yup. It took a full year after my first son for my period flow to return to normal. Same for my second son also. My least favorite part of this whole experience lol

@Leslie it’s terrible I’m having to change every hour 😩 xx

Hello mama ! It’s hard to gauge what’s normal because everyone is different for example I’m 3 months postpartum and have yet to get my period (could be because I’m breastfeeding) if you have concerns definitely give your doctor a call, but I know my doctors would give me the rule of “if you are soaking a pad within the hour And having to change you’re bleeding too much “ wish you the best 💕💕

@Anabella yeah i feel this. Lol. With my second son I began using disposable period underwear because even with a tampon and a pad, it was wild the amount of blood I had. Now with my 3rd baby I feel way more prepared. Ive got disposable period underwear, regular period underwear and super long maxi pads.

Let your dr know

Yep, totally normal. Periods pp are often very different (and heavier) than before. My first one pp this time I was changing a maternity towel every 2 1/2 hours even at night. It was like that for two weeks because I also started on new contraception

Mine came back around then also and it was horrendous, definitely eased after period number 3

I'm 9 weeks and 3 days PP and bottle feeding and still no period. Had tiny bits of spotting couple of weeks ago but nothing since and with my other 3 kids it was back by now and horrendous so the waiting is feeling like impending doom.

Yup! Im 10 months PP and my first 2 days is still heavier than it used to be. Id say a good 6 months of my periods have been HEAVY since PP
