Stopping boob

Afternoon all, My LO was one on the 3rd, she is fully weaned in terms of meals, she has breakfast, lunch, tea and snacks at nursery and then fruit and dinner in the evenings at home. She drinks cows milk but we cannot seem to stop the night boob feeds. I work for emergency services so night shifts are back on the card as of next week and I am panicked about how she will manage through the night. Any tips from anyone that has successfully weaned off breast?

So if you’re not there baby will likely settle for (I assume dad) in other ways such as rocking, a cuddle, a bum pat etc. You don’t have to stop night feeding just because you’re not there every night (of course if you want to completely night wean that’s your choice). Babies are smart they know when milk is and isn’t on the table. It’s likely dad will have a much easier time than you think x

Agree with Yasmin. We simply took milk away as an option. My husband did all the wakes for a couple of nights and it was fine!
