24/7 nausea

I’m basically feeling like this all the time and I don’t want anything to eat or feel hungry but if I don’t eat every 3 or so hours I just feel even worse and have to lie down. Luckily I’m off work! I’m taking B6 and told the doctor about it but that haven’t suggested medication at this point. I’m just so tired and miserable but anyone else having this so I don’t feel so alone 🙃

Exactly the same boat, smells are what really set me off though! I feel nauseous 24/7 but if I smell any kind of different smell that’s it I’m no good 🤮 Haven’t been able to open my fridge in 3 weeks, thankfully able to work from home to avoid office smells ☺️

Yes!! I am very similar to you with feeling very nauseous which usually results in being sick, I also find I have to eat every couple of hours otherwise it makes it worse but forcing food down is hard hard work! Praying things get better, for you also! I was prescribed cyclizine which I think helped, but it was making me feel exhausted which is more desirable than being sick but I have a 3.5 year old too, so have to weigh up one or the other at mo!

I have hyperemesis so totally get it. It’s horrific. Your GP should absolutely be prescribing anti sickness meds. Check out pregnancy sickness support website, they have loads of info on medication and a peer support service who can advise and support you. Don’t get fobbed off by your GP who should know better! There’s nothing worse than feeling 3 seconds away from vomiting 24/7

Keep on at your GP/midwife. Honestly on my 2nd lot of meds and actually been able to eat and even drive xx

I had HG with my first (now nearly 4 yo) so I was straight onto the doctor with this baby and on meds which have reduced the sickness to nausea at the moment. Don’t be afraid to go back to GP regularly! They should not fob you off! X

I feel like I’m making it up how bad it is sometimes but I think women are made to feel that way and it’s normal but so irritating! I’m hoping it’ll ease off this week if not I’ll ask my GP again for advice as I can deal with it but it’s just making me miserable

@Penny bless you, it can be a really dark and isolating time. I was in bed May-Sept and have never been so depressed and lonely in my life. Nothing is worth that. I hope you find meds that work. When you speak to the GP ask them for Xonvea (pronounced with a Z) as this is now first line medication made especially for pregnancy sickness. It has been a miracle for many women I’ve spoken to. You don’t have to put up with it, good luck xx

Speak to your GP, I got prescribed cyclizine hydrochloride and it’s been so so helpful
