Sick with EBF
I currently have a fever of 100.3, headache, cough with mucus, and sharp pain in my chest. All started around 3 am after I fed my son again. Is it safe to continue breastfeeding?? I’m gonna have a mask on in the house around him because of it but idk what else to do 😭

10000% it’s great and safe to continue to breastfeed as your son will get your antibodies! My baby has avoided colds and bugs from drinking breast milk for 17 months

Definitely continue breastfeeding so your baby can get all those wonderful antibodies your body is producing for baby 💗💗 You’re doing great mama

It is absolutely still safe to be breastfeeding while sick. Your body created anti-bodies to fight against the sickness you have that'll help protect your baby from it. We have already been sick twice this season 🫠 my EBF* baby has only gotten a runny nose while the rest of the house had a bad cough ect.
