Stopping breastfeeding

How on earth do I stop! If I try to say no my little girl goes full exorcist on me. Scratching, biting, screaming head butting. It’s not nice to see at all so of course I end up giving in because I hate seeing her like that. We are still currently feeding as soon as she wakes up , after breakfast, a million times in the day, before bed and whenever she wakes up. It’s too much but she is addicted 😂 but I just can’t do it anymore

Apparently 18ish months is the toughest time to stop 🙃 but you can slowly reduce feeds, distract, offer snacks, say, let's do that and then boobie....

I'm glad it's not just me feeding a million times in the day. She claws at me if I say no 😫

Omg in the same boat. I get comments all the time from people about how I should stop and I’m like yes I want to! But it’s not that easy🙃

Me too! Been trying to cut down but he goes mad and it can last for over an hour. Just trying to start him on a bottle of cow milk he seems to like it frothed but he doesn’t drink enough of it to be satisfying. I was reading this evening about putting something like vinegar on your nipples for it to be less appealing but not sure how I feel about it. I feel exhausted this month though and it’s been painful a lot so really want to stop feeding!

I’m 24 weeks pregnant and was hoping my girl would self wean by now as I’m sure there’s hardly/no milk left.. but she’s still going strong 😂 I’m gonna focus on night weaning first so have bought the happycosleepers guide and will give it a read this weekend but no advice currently 😅
