Moving baby to own room

Has anyone moved their baby to their own room yet? My boy will be 5 months next week and we are thinking about moving him. I know the recommendation is 6 months but he’s awake so much neither me or my husband are getting any sleep. I think if he’s in his own room I can go and settle him and at least m husband might get some sleep!

We moved our little one in this week with a camera, it’s definitely an adjustment, he’s sleeping great the first half of the night and he wakes around 1 and he’s pretty restless from then but he’s been like that since four month sleep regression plus he is teething so just trying to stick to a bedtime routine as much as possible, good luck 🫶🏼x

We moved at 5 months because she just wasn’t sleeping in our room. Our bed is creaky every movement woke her, our neighbours have a baby and the walls are thin and she was waking. Since moving her the first stretch is great, first feed fine it’s from 4/5am we have an issue but not sure if that’s her room, teething, poor day sleep or combination of 3 we gave her a bottle last night which helped her settle

Honestly his sleep has got so bad recently 😫 he was doing 1-2 wake ups from about 6 weeks which I could deal with, now he sleeps from about 7pm until we go to bed at 10 then wakes every hour from 1.30 and it’s killing us 😫 he’s breastfed and we have recently tried introducing a bottle of formals before bed in case that helps which it did a few times but now that doesn’t help either. So we thought moving him to his own room might help too.

Moved at 5 months and 1 week. He was starting to wake himself up in next to me as kept moving around and hitting sides of it. Thought I would just try for one night if it makes a difference, he slept the whole night as he had plenty of space. I do have a monitor in the room and his room is next door, so takes me about 2 seconds to get there if he has an odd wake up at night.
