Night waking/wanting milk

Hey. My baby is a big baby and a hungry baby she’s never been a great sleeper apart from when she was a newborn but pretty much every night she wakes around 3 and I’ve tried everything, giving her the dummy, a comforter, cuddling her offered water etc. but she will not sleep without milk. She’s not a great napper in the day either until the last week she only has 2 half hour naps, she has more recently started having a little longer but only totalling around 1.5-2 hours in total throughout her two naps. Is there anything I can try/do to try and help her sleep through? Thanks

if she’s only waking up once a night and won’t settle for anything else, it could purely just be hunger. babies are designed to wake for night feeds so I wouldn’t try and drop them until she’s a year old and then no longer needs formula/breastmilk. i know it’s tiring... my baby is around the same age and still wakes up multiple times in the night.

If its only once I wouldnt fight it and just make her a bottle

My baby also wakes up once around 5ish for a bottle and then settles straight away. Got to be hunger xx

She does wake more than that but that time she wakes she won’t go back down without milk. I did give her milk and she slept till 8.30 but I was under the impression that she doesn’t need milk after 6 months as that’s what the health visitor told me so I’ve been trying to knock it out but if that’s not the case then I’ll just feed her as it will obviously be a lot quicker and easier x
