Sleep Regression

My daughter got pretty sick a few weeks ago and hasn't slept well since. She went from falling asleep independently most nights to wanting to cuddled to sleep. Which I totally don't mind, but she takes longer to fall asleep, wakes more frequently in the night, and wakes earlier in the morning. She also isn't napping as well during the day. I really want her to get better quality of sleep, but I don't think I can bear going through sleep training again. We don't cosleep because the few times we've tried, it takes twice as long to get her back to sleep. Any advice?

I am going through the same thing right now. She hasn’t been eating well the past 2 days and she’s been fighting her naps and going to sleep on her own now. I’ve had to co sleep but she wakes up earlier and doesn’t want to go back to sleep. I think I’m just going to have to sleep train again. It’s been rough. I even gave her Tylenol last night because I noticed that her teeth are coming in but that didn’t do much.

This happened with my son the last time he got sick. He would start screaming the second we even went into his room, before getting to his crib or anything. Gave a little more comfort but just kept trying to keep up with the normal routine (once he wasn't sick anymore of course) It took a couple of weeks but he got back on track. Getting sick messes up everybody's schedule sometimes I think. Just keep up with the usual stuff and she'll eventually get back to it. 💛
