I am one year postpartum and have made zero progress in getting my body back. Would love to hear how other mamas got started and what tips or plans you followed!!

I started Zumba classes but the actual fun ones lol and that helped so much, I loved going! I ended up losing 15 lbs after a year and have managed to keep it off this year too!

I lost 70pounds after my pregnancy by intermittent fasting, 15min core yoga a day, walking the dog, and taking daily probiotics. It took me a year. Be gentle with yourself, your health is #1 priority, your childbearing body is beautiful and here to stay. Having a body that created life is a gift, I never want my old body back lol.

I am 5 months pp and have lost 10kg so far, I’m 1.5 kg away from my pre pregnancy weight. I struggled with motivation and unhealthy eating for a while but being in a calorie deficit and doing daily walks of 45 mins to an hour helped me massively. Prior to pregnancy I loved working out but currently I’m lacking any kind of motivation so walking is the best I can do for now 😅 Good luck. X

My girl is 9 months, & although it took me a full 3 months of recovery due to severe complications. I'm ready to start this as well. I'm thinking I'm starting intermittent fasting.

At 4 months postpartum with my son I started weight watchers (controversial to some) and then began running again. I lost a total of 3 stone 5 pounds and I have every intention of restarting in the new year after I’ve had my second baby. I know how to lose weight just by being in a calorie deficit etc but I found attending sessions etc held me more accountable. I’ve also made two great friends from the group where we chat on the regular about everything and support each other through the journey of life! X
