Wrong size of breast pump
Has anyone got any experience with wrong size of breast pump ? I have immensely suffered severe pain up to my nipple for a few days now. Got a new pump I think it’s a medium so a size smaller than my initial one and I’ve been using it more and notice I had clogged duct it was hard and very painful 😣. I tried using warm water to massage, did hand massage to no avail, I was gonna call the gp by morning but decided to use my old pump and clogged duct is gone. 😂 pain has reduced. Has anyone experienced this ?

Yep! My nipples changed right after giving birth and then 1 month pp!! Left different than right! Pumping shouldn’t hurt! It was relieving for me to pump and feel less full. Clogged ducts were only fixed by my baby. I would latch her and she would work away🤣🥹🩷🐥 team work🥹
I had pain until I changed my flanges! Was not the right size for me at all and was pulling the skin around as well 😬 Good luck Mama! 💛

You could get flange inserts to help you. Also speak to a lactation consultant if you can I’ve had clogged ducts a couple of times, a hot shower helps, warm compresses and I pump after on a low setting to relieve myself
