Weaning my 17 month old
My daughter has been exclusively breastfed for 17 months. And I am ready to stop but she is not. She still nurses about 4-7 times a day depending on the day. She does not like cows milk. She is VERY adamant when she wants "boob boob". Makes me feel extremely selfish to stop breastfeeding her so I'm having a hard time with this.
there is nothing selfish about weaning your child off of breastmilk! it’s a part of life, i would consult a bf specialist or my pediatrician! i know it’s hard but don’t be too hard on yourself! she’s a big girl now
