I understand as sometimes I feel I would do it myself even if I believe it is not natural when so small baby who barely understands anything needs to cry so heavily. I also put my baby for the naps to the bed once fallen asleep. He sometimes protests but then after 2-3 minutes holding and nursing I put her again and then she usually falls asleep. They have nobody but us now and the need of intimacy and bond is one of the basic one, as basic as feeding and caring. I keep the fingers crossed for you and your baby any decision you will take :)
What also might work and it is more gradual method is sleeping ladder method. Nevertheless I can see it varies between version I know and the American one :p
U have to be consist with ur baby sleeping in his crib I was like that too it broke my heart to hear my son cry when he was 7 months u just have to be strong and consist with him
