Struggle during week?

Anybody else struggle during the week feeling isolated but ok when partners are home on the weekend? We moved over a year ago and the community hasn’t been super warm so we have struggled to make friends. I have no family in a 1200 mile radius and our friends are about 45 mins away. What are other moms doing to combat the isolation when just with their toddler all day? We go outside, we do errands but there aren’t even groups to take him to now that summer is over. We have him in part time daycare (3 hrs) while I teach so he gets a bit of play date with other kids- otherwise it is him and I all day.

Part time daycare is plenty for him. But what about you? Does your partner give you the time to take a class or be part of a group that regularly meets to do something you're interested in. There are definitely mommy groups that meet during the year, keep looking! Until you have an activity with people you see regularly, you'll struggle a bit. Try joining a Peanut pod and seeing if there's anyone you connect with. It's doesn't take a ton of people to feel less isolated. Even one is a great start! Don't get discouraged if it takes a while, that's normal.

Can you meet halfway with your friends? Even if it's once a week?
