How to get EBF baby to bottle
Help! My son will be going to daycare really soon and he refuses the bottle at all cost. My mom says it’s on me for not using the bottle more or having others feed him. But I wanted to EBF. When he was first born there were so many issues where I couldn’t and at one point all he took was the bottle. Now I only breastfeed and he no longer wants a bottle. What do I do? Any suggestions,advice?

You may need to try different brands and see if your little one takes to a teat in particular

Following because same!! Don’t feel guilty though, there’s so much pressure to go against what is natural and ebf is natural. A bottle can be introduced, it may be difficult but it’s not impossible. Ebf, especially when baby is younger, is good for attachment, brain development, immunity (needed in nursery!!), etc. I’ve been told that to get them used to a bottle, rather than giving them a full bottle, practice with say half an ounce. You can even get the bottle head and allow them to practice sucking it. My health visitor told me this, apparently it won’t make them gassy xx
