I didn’t have any main points, I honestly think you’ll get a feel of the school on the tour and when the headteacher talks to you etc. I picked my eldest current school by what they do, and the ethos and the general feel of it.
There was a similar post recently and a deputy headteacher had written down pointers of what to look - which I saved in my notes 🙈

Both mum and teacher here...I personally look for schools that allow look arounds during the school day. If they don't I would be questioning why and what don't they want us to see. it's cliche but I just got such a lovely warm feeling when visiting what is now my son's school but also when I have walked around other schools I just knew they weren't right so trust your gut. X
