Changing nappies at night

Hiya, My 13 week old no longer has a feed during the night but sometimes she will wet her nappy , but every time I change her she wakes up. Does anyone leave the nappy if it’s wet? Or does it always have to be changed / Thanks ! X

If they aren't waking for a feed don't change them.

Agreed. Make sure you have a good nappy for night to see her through.

My suggestion is to Leave it on even if it’s wet unless your baby is prone to nappy rash. If she’s not bothered by it then leave it.

My girl goes to bed 6:30 and I make sure to change her nappy right before I go to bed at 12 just so I know she isn’t going all the way to 7 next morning with the same nappy x

I would leave her, get a good night time nappy and barrier cream to put in at bedtime when you know there’s going to be a long period of time in a wet nappy x

I used to leave it on all night. Same as during the day when you’re out she will wee while you’re travelling etc. change the nappy 6x pd on average. I do 4x pd. she’s over a year and no issues with this. Just have to wipe everywhere each time, let it dry a bit then new nappy. Only change if you have to. Otherwise baby will Sleep fine. Sleep is the priority. Try it and see if her skin is fine. We have her in Lidl nappies and pampers. Both work the same to me.

Nooo don't change them hun - change them in the morning. Your making work for yourself. They are often quite full in the morning bit that's OK- a good wash down and they will be fine 🥰🥰 xx

Can I also say your little girl has an amazing head of hair and the colour is so pretty 😍🥰 x

@Catherine Aw thank you 🩷x

Leave it if it’s only a wet nappy, nappies are designed for 12 hours protection. Just make sure you get a good nappy that doesn’t leak
