Possible autism.
Hey mamas. My baby had her first meeting with infant and toddler yesterday. They played with and evaluated her. They said she has multiple areas of delay and need to be tested for autism. It’s just so scary to think about. I want the best for my babe. She also has CMV which can cause developmental delays so this was kind of expected but I just feel so alone. I love my daughter so so much. It’s just scary not knowing for sure yet. Does anyone else’s little have CMV? Or a baby with delays? It would be nice to have someone to talk to.

What are the delays exactly? The doctors are probably being cautious.

@Marie When a child does not meet their milestones on time. My daughter has a speech delay and has a high tolerance to pain.
I hope everything turns out OK 🙏. What I know though is that sometimes doctor are just being thorough. The wait is often the hardest too... I've been there.
