I would reach out to a lactation consultant honestly if you are pumping that much and not producing a lot. Some other things to consider: were you measured for the right flange size? Depending on how long you’ve been pumping have you changed your pump parts? Are you using a wall or wearable pump as your main pump?
I’ve noticed if I don’t drink as much water and not eat enough I don’t make a lot. I’ve also started eating more oats and it’s helped up my supply
@Ryann Im using a wall pump, and yesterday I got the flanges measured. I’m working with a lactation consultant
Pumps just don’t work super well for everyone sadly. Even if it’s a great pump and perfect sized pump parts etc. I never responded well to a pump but was able to exclusively feed my boy from the breast.
Im just going to add what @Caitlin said consume a lot more calories and also staying hydrated, and power pump session between 2-5am as prolactin levels are the highest then and usually will produce the most.
Did power pumping twice a day, had chamomile tea in the morning, coconut water also give it a day or two you would have increased supply. And make sure to pump regularly also if not it dries up again.
