Anyone else struggling with routine

I feel like I have no routine or structure. I put my baby down at around 10.30 - 11 and she will wake up at around 7. Naps are erratic. We also do lots of activities like tummy time, reading and playing with toys but I am so tired myself by 9 o clock how do I entertain her so late on?? Just would appreciate some advice.

She's going sleep a bit late, babies at this age are supposed to have 11-12 hours of sleep at night and 3-4 hours worth of napping in the day, wake windows between 1.5 and 2 hours. This is an example routine off the huckleberry app 6:30 Rise 8-9:15 nap 1 11-12 nap 2 1:45-2:45 nap 3 4:45-5:15 nap4 6:45pm ready for bed 7:15pm asleep I dont have that routine I usually base my LO sleep to the reccomended number of hours. But I do stick to going sleep at 8/8:30

For nighttime I found it easiest to gradually move bedtime. First implement a routine of your choice (I do bottle, change into nighttime clothes + sleeping bag, bedtime story and a final top up with breastfeeding), then after a while start the routine a little earlier every day. My baby's naps are very erratic too and I have no daytime nap routine either :( I want to implement one but I'm finding that way harder than the nighttime routine!

We moved bedtime to between 7 & 8pm at 3 months.

Oh god I feel terrible for putting her to bed so late

Don’t feel bad if it works for you. Just gradually move it earlier so you get some time to yourself in the evening. Just remember it might take a while for her to adjust, so once you put her down for bedtime remember to treat any wake ups as you would normally and avoid taking her back out of the room etc good luck 🤞🏽

Don’t feel terrible at all! You don’t need to follow everyone else. Every baby is different. Mine goes down between 9 and 10. We will gradually be bringing this forward but our boy is 5 week premature so we go by his corrected age for sleep and naps are still all over the place right now so it’s hard. I wouldn’t bother changing much until after the clocks have changed though because that’ll throw a spanner in the works most likely lol. Once clocks go back, try and move 15 mins earlier each night and try and get it where you want it and then try work out the naps. Babies do what they want most of the time lol x

Don't feel bad, she's looked after that's all that matters. I'm pretty sure with my firstborn born I established a routine post 4 months and he was going sleep around 10ish and waking up around 10am. It worked for us. He brought his routine forward himself, my second has done the same. So you never know your LO may just start letting you know she wants to go sleep come a certain time in the evening.

Do you use Huckleberry. It’s been an INSANE amount of help for us!
