Coughing at night

Please any suggestions 😅 My poor little girl has had a on and off cough for a few weeks since starting nursery. She’s been checked at the doctors and no concerns but night times are a real struggle with her being comfortable sleeping with it. She’s also a belly sleeper which probably doesn’t help with the congestion in her chest. We’ve tried raising her cot so she’s slanted, humidifier, nasal drops (also has a snotty nose), calpol plug in (I feel this makes her cough worse as it’s so strong), calcough, warm bath before bed and water in the night if she needs it. But nothing is helping🥲 she went to bed at 6.30pm and every 5 or so mins she’s coughing☹️☹️ Anyone have any other suggestions?

My girl is the same! Constant cough since nursery aswell as runny nose. I’ve been putting snuffle babe on her chest and that seems to be working a treat xx

The only thing that worked for my little boy when we had covid was him sleeping upright on me

I’m having the same with my twin girls, I am having to have twin 1 sleeping upright on me, I’m taking them doctors today as there really struggling and crying in pain where it’s hurting there throat, I have tried calcough, benylin, Calpol plug in everything nothing is working😩xx

We are in the same boat. Coughing overnight for the last 9 weeks absolutely awful! The doctors have prescribed a blue inhaler and that seems to be improving the coughing seems to only start around 4am now whereas it used to be from the moment he laid down xx

@Luba omg this sounds awful! 9 weeks😭 poor baby!!! Xx
